We met a train barge in the ICW and they have the right of way. we hovered and let him go by. Since he bigger. Posted by Picasa

Posted by Picasa Skipper Bob mentions that there are rocky ledges protruding in the ICW in the Myrtle Beach area. Wow look at the rocks, these are all covered up at high tides.

Norfolk Va

anybody hungry Posted by Picasa

We are in Norfolk at the begginning of the intracoastal waterway. For the people who don't know the ICW is a combination of man made and existing canals that go from Norfolk to Key West. Most boaters chose this route because you don't have to go offshore of Cape Hateras and you are well protected. We will do the ICW to experience it. 50 miles a day and 1062 miles to go.
